![]() ![]() Wesley is the UK News Editor for IGN.Hey all, I'm loving all the energy and excitement about a Diablo IV Beta showing up on but you should know that this is an internal only test. ![]() ![]() Two expansions are currently in development. Blizzard announced Diablo 4 is its fastest-selling game of all time. Generally speaking, Diablo 4 has gone down well and enjoyed a smooth launch. Of course, the true test of Diablo 4’s monetisation will come when its battle passes launch and we get a sense of whether Blizzard is paywalling the game’s best-looking armour sets, or if the base game itself includes fancy fits that hold their own. Anyone who’s played Activision’s recent Call of Duty games, for example, will be familiar with this sort of pricing. One redditor worked it out, and came up with $357 to get everything in the most cost-effective way possible.Īs you’d expect, the Diablo community has pointed out just how expensive these cosmetics are, and the fact armour sets are available for just one class only devalues your purchase somewhat.īut others point out that up to $25 for a bundle that includes a skin and a few minor cosmetics is pretty standard these days. If you want to buy all the cosmetics currently available in the shop, you’re looking at spending hundreds of dollars or pounds. The Three-Fold Nightmare Prestige mount and armour costs 1,500 Platinum, or just shy of £13. Some Diablo 4 horses are dead expensive.Īnd of course there’s horse armour for new mounts. That’s a direct payment with real-world money. If you have fancy taste, you'll need the money to pay for it. Platinum is Diablo 4’s premium in-game currency, and must itself be bought with real-world money. Take the Triune Apostate armour set, for example. While that is very much a good thing, and in keeping with promises Blizzard made before launch, the pricing of some of these cosmetics has raised eyebrows. There are no gameplay-affecting items up for sale. Available now, however, is the in-game shop, which has become a bone of contention among fans.ĭiablo 4’s shop sells cosmetics only. ![]() ![]() ![]() Post-hike, once doing some research, I find a need to return to the mine to see everything. I made an error on this trip, I didn’t look up information prior to hiking. Many different roads and routes cross each other and we zig-zagged across many of them. The biggest challenge is picking the correct route amongst the many trails and old service roads penetrating the regrowing forest. On our route we did have a short section of walking overgrown trail. The route is easy and for the most part well marked. Sunday December 7th, our plan was to hike along Camus Ridge to Thistle Mine and do a loop on the return to visit Christie Falls. The morning’s late departure time that afforded me the luxury of sleeping in and being able to make breakfast before heading to the rendezvous point at Southgate Tim Horton’s for 9 a.m. The morning started at a very relaxed pace. ![]() |
